Scalp Eczema - Vitamin E Works For Eczema

Here is a transcript of a telephone consultation I did recently. It gives information about using aloe vera both internally and externally.

S: Actually, I just want to know, I just had a baby for 18 months. How is the aloe vera cream -- I just got the aloe vera cream from the healthstore. Do you think that putting it directly on the baby is good?

Vitamine

Js: What I think you should do is you go and you buy some pure aloe vera juice and get her to take it internally. If you want to put the cream on the outside, fine. You do that if you want. But it's great for her to take the aloe vera internally as opposed to externally. And get the raw aloe vera juice, and give her--start off with one teaspoon and see how she reacts. And then two teaspoons, and then increase it to about one tablespoon three times a day.

S: How about giving her aloe vera and vitamin E and all that? Do you think that is going to soothe the skin and all that?

Js: The vitamin E is very good, but don't overdo it. The vitamin E will help her skin to heal very fast, and it will heal it without any scars. Yes, get her to take vitamin E. It's very superior for a puny child. It's very good for you.

S: That's fine. Thanks a lot, Janet.

H: Just a moment. Can I just ask? Sorry. It's Helena here. Would you suggest vitamin E for adults as well?

Js: Yes, definitely.

H: How much?

Js: Start off with 100 International Units. I personally take 400 International Units three times a day, and I love it. But perhaps, you should start off with a smaller dosage. Start off with 400 International Units three times a day and then increase it.

This is the end of the telephone transcript.
